Welcome to ‘Make Rights Real’
Hello and welcome to our campaign!
‘Make Rights Real’ is a public awareness campaign aimed at demonstrating how human rights and equality are relevant to all our lives. We’re also hoping this campaign will help people better understand their rights.
The campaign is running from October to December 2015, and is an initiative of the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be:
- Featuring real-life stories on this site, which illustrate different human rights and equality issues.
- Running a nationwide advertising campaign.
- Engaging in online conversations on Twitter and Facebook.
- We’re also planning activities to mark Human Rights Day 2015, which falls on 10th December. Check back soon for further updates!
We’re hoping this campaign will get people across Ireland thinking about how human rights and equality impact on their day-to-day lives.
